An Act to amend the Passports Act 1966. [ ] ENACTED by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows: Short title and commencement

This Act comes into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.

Amendment of section 2

The Passports Act 1966 [Act 150] is amended in section 2—

in subsection (1), by inserting after the words

“shall produce to an immigration officer” the words

“or provide through an automated system,”; and

in subsection (2), by inserting after the words “produce to that officer” the words “or provide through an automated system,”.
