This Act may be cited as the Degrees and Diplomas Short title. Act 1962.
In this Act "the former University of Malaya" means the University established and incorporated under the University of Malaya Ordinance, 1949, and the "present University of Malaya" means the University of Malaya established and incorporated under the University of Malaya Act, 1961.
