Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 3(i) Enakmen Rizab Melayu, Menteri Besar Pahang mengisytiharkan tanah seluas 51.26 hektar, Mukim Lepar, Daerah Pekan yang ditandakan di atas Pelan Ukur No. P.W. 3789 yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Pahang menjadi Kawasan Simpanan Melayu yang dikenali sebagai Kawasan Simpanan Melayu Lepar (Tambahan).
