Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56/1965], Pihak Berkuasa Negeri telah merizabkan tanah sejumlah 60.71 hektar, Mukim Bentong, Daerah Bentong yang ditandakan dengan garisan tepi berwarna kelabu di atas Pelan Ukur No. P.W. 5339, yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Pahang untuk maksud awam iaitu sebagai Tapak Empangan Perting, di Perting, di bawah kawalan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri dan diselenggarakan oleh Pengarah Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Negeri Pahang.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 62(1) of the National Land Code [Act 56/1965], the State Authority has reserved a land measuring an amount of 60.71 hectares, Mukim of Bentong, District of Bentong as delineated grey shown edges upon Survey Plan No. P.W. 5339, deposited in the Office of the Director of Survey and Mapping of Pahang for public purpose to wit a site for Perting Dam, at Perting, to be under the control of the State Secretary and maintained by the Director of Department of Irrigation and Drainage of Pahang State.
