This order may be cited as the African Swine Fever Disease Infected
Area (District of Kota Marudu) Order 2021.
This Order comes into operation on 12 March 2021 and shall remain in force until revoked.
African Swine Fever Disease Infected Area
District of Kota Marudu is declared to be a African Swine Fever Disease
Infected Area.
Prohibition of movement
No person shall, except with the written permission of the Director of
Veterinary Services and under the supervision of veterinary authority –
remove or cause to be removed any swine, swine product, its carcass or any article or substance out of or into the District of Kota Marudu; and
FOR REFERENCE ONLY (May 2021)
remove or cause to be removed any swine, swine product, its carcass or any article or substance from an area to other area in the District of Kota
Marudu.
The Director of Veterinary Services or any veterinary authority may prescribe any condition in the written permission issued under subparagraph (1) and such condition shall be complied by any person who move the swine, swine product, its carcass or any article or substance.
Compliance of Order
Any person without reasonable reason refuse to comply or fails to carry out any prohibition, order, instruction or requirement under this Order commits an offence.
