PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES
(MEASURES WITHIN INFECTED LOCAL AREAS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2021
IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 11(2)
of the
Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 [Act 342], the Minister makes the following regulations:
Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within Infected Local Areas) (Amendment)
Regulations 2021.
(2)
These Regulations come into operation on 25 May 2021.
Substitution of First Schedule 2.
The Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within
Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2021 [P.U. (A) 225/2021], which are referred to as the
“principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended by substituting for the
First Schedule the following schedule:

Amendment of Second Schedule 3.
The Second Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for paragraph 4 the following paragraph:

Entertainment activities at karaoke centers, family entertainment centers, hotel lounges, cinemas not including drive-in cinemas, and children’s playground in shopping malls”.
