PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 46A(1) Akta Pemegang Pajak Gadai 1972 [Akta 81], Menteri mengecualikan pemegang pajak gadai yang dinamakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual daripada pemakaian perenggan 16(1)(a) Akta bagi tempoh lima belas tahun berkuat kuasa mulai tarikh penyiaran pemberitahuan ini dalam Warta dengan syarat bahawa—

(a)

pemegang pajak gadai itu memegang lesen yang sah; dan

(b)

waktu perniagaan bagi maksud penerimaan barang sebagai pajak gadai adalah sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (2) Jadual.

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 46A(1) of the Pawnbrokers Act 1972 [Act 81], the Minister exempts the pawnbrokers named in column (1) of the Schedule from the application of paragraph 16(1)(a) of the Act for a period of fifteen years with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette provided that—

(a)

the pawnbrokers hold a valid licence; and

(b)

the business hours for the purposes of receiving articles in pawn are as specified in column (2) of the Schedule.
