Preamble
- Whereas, the Y.A.B. Menteri Besar Kedah Darul Aman, has on the 6th January 2005 made Anti Rabies Vaccination (Kedah) Order under subsection 42(1) of the Animal Ordinance 1953, in respect of the District of Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Baling, Sik, Kota Setar, Pendang and Pokok Sena in the State of Kedah Darul Aman. Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 42(6)(a) of the Animal Ordinance 1953, the Director of Veterinary Services, State Kedah Darul Aman requires that every dog three months of age and above, within the District of Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Baling, Sik, Kota Setar, Pendang and Pokok Sena in the State of Kedah Darul Aman shall after the 30th March 2005 and at all times, during the continuance in force of the said order, carry upon it a serially numbered badge issued for the year 2005 by the Veterinary Department West Malaysia, and ear tattoo mark as evidence of its having been vaccinated against Rabies. Any dog three months of age and above found within the Districts of Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap, Baling, Sik, Kota Setar, Pendang and Pokok Sena in the State of Kedah Darul Aman after the 30th March 2005, whether at large or not which does not carry upon it both the said vaccination badge and ear tattoo mark may be destroyed.
